Saturday in Kerrytown

Kerrytown, a nearby historic shopping area, is one of my favorite places in all of Ann Arbor. The paper shop Hollander's has a lot to do with it; a half hour on the parking meter goes by fast while browsing all of their unique papers and goods.

I stopped in on Saturday to pick up paper and afterward walked through the shops connected inside the main building. There is everything from clothing & kids stores to an indoor produce market & fresh seafood. I love how they've preserved the historic feel of the buildings, too.

And coming home to unroll new paper (wrapped up and sealed with a Hollander's sticker) is always a treat. I bought just two kinds: metallic embossed paper for making tray boxes, and a floral print by Snow & Graham that I just might frame.

Oh, I've been here. I love Kerrytown and this paper store and the farmer's market in the Spring!

That embossed paper is beautiful, I can absolutely see it as a tray box.
