Grow.

Our orchid has had a sudden growth spurt; four blossoms and another bud. It always amazes me how gratifying it is to see it thrive in the winter, while outside everything is sleepy and cold.

Your orchid is so lovely! Mine has a few buds on it right now too! I can't wait to see them bloom soon! :)

my orchids live for a couple weeks and then the lovely blooms disappear, never to be seen again. whats your trick to keeping them alive?

Kae, I've heard they like humid environments, but ours has been happy ever since we put it on the window bench above our heater vent, where it gets morning/afternoon light.

Hi, good to read your blog again. Yep that is happening to my 2 IKEA orchids too. My mom said not to through them out but to leave them, keep talking and keep watering and now i have 9 buds on them. Amazing!

I'm impressed. (And envious!) I have tried getting several orchids to re-blossom, and I have apparently never found the right formula. Glad it's working for someone!
